Krishnain is a verified professional networking platform for ISKCON devotees in the United States. It is a community service project — not a commercial product. We do not sell anything, run advertisements, or monetize your data in any way.

What We Collect

When you register, we collect your name, email address, professional background, and community affiliation. If you choose to share additional details — such as skills, bio, or career preferences — these are stored to help other verified members connect with you.

We do not collect sensitive data such as financial information, government IDs, or location tracking. We do not use cookies for advertising purposes.

Who Can See Your Information

Your profile and career details are visible only to verified Krishnain members — devotees who have been vouched for by an existing member. Your information is never displayed publicly on the internet, in search engines, or to unverified visitors.

If you post an opportunity (job, referral, internship), it is visible to all verified members on the platform.

How We Protect Your Data

Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption and hosted on trusted cloud infrastructure. Access to the database is restricted to essential platform operations only.

We do not share, sell, or transfer your personal data to any third party — ever. Not to advertisers, not to analytics companies, not to anyone outside the platform.

Your Choices

You can update or delete your profile at any time from your account settings. If you want your account and all associated data permanently removed, email us at hello@krishnain.com and we will process it within 7 days.

You can choose what information to share on your profile. Required fields are limited to your name and email — everything else is optional.

Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, we will notify all members via email before any changes take effect. We will never reduce your privacy protections without your explicit consent.

Who Can Join

Krishnain is open to ISKCON devotees and congregation members in the United States. All new members must be verified through one of three methods: a vouch from an existing verified member, an invite link from a verified member, or approval through our admin review process.

By joining, you confirm that you are affiliated with the ISKCON community and that the information on your profile is truthful.

Community Standards

Krishnain exists to help devotees professionally. We expect every member to engage with the spirit of seva (selfless service) — genuine service to the community.

• Treat every member with respect and dignity
• Only post legitimate opportunities — jobs, referrals, internships, mentorship
• Do not use the platform for solicitation, sales, or promotion of personal businesses
• Do not share other members’ private information outside the platform
• Do not create fake profiles or misrepresent your identity
• Do not use the platform for any purpose that contradicts Vaishnava values

Vouching Responsibility

When you vouch for someone, you are putting your reputation behind theirs. Vouch only for devotees you genuinely know and trust. If a member you vouched for violates community standards, it may affect your own standing on the platform.

You can vouch for up to 5 new members per month.

Content & Opportunities

When you post a job, referral, or opportunity on Krishnain, you are responsible for ensuring it is legitimate and accurately described. We do not verify the details of individual postings but will remove any listing reported as misleading or inappropriate.

Krishnain is not an employer and does not mediate hiring decisions, salary negotiations, or workplace disputes.

Account & Removal

You may delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate community standards, after review. If your account is suspended, you will be notified with an explanation and given an opportunity to respond.

Limitation

Krishnain is provided as a free community service with no warranties. We do our best to maintain the platform but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We are not liable for any outcomes resulting from connections made on the platform.

Changes

We may update these terms as the platform grows. Members will be notified of significant changes via email. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
